My Keys LLC
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 6, 2026
TimeKey (mytimekeys.com) is a personal planning product operated by My Keys LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
TimeKey is operated by My Keys LLC and published at mytimekeys.com. Where this policy says "we", it means My Keys LLC. TimeKey is one of several Keys products; each is a separate app, and information moves between them only when you choose to connect them and send something across.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information. The email address and password credentials used to create an account, and account status.
- Planner content. What you write and keep in the product: daily pages, tasks and task notes, journal entries, travel plans and trip notes, learning items, habits and habit logs, wins, intentions, tags and decoration choices.
- Device, usage and technical data. Basic information needed to run and secure the service, such as browser type, approximate request metadata, error reports and timestamps.
- Integrations and connections. If you connect another Keys product or a third-party calendar, we keep the connection record and the specific references you choose to share — not the full contents of the other service.
- Optional mobile number and messaging consent. If, and only if, you opt in to text messages, we keep your mobile number, the wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, where and when consent was given, and any later opt-out.
- Payment and billing metadata. If and when paid plans are offered, billing is handled by a payment processor. We would keep plan status and transaction references, not full card numbers.
Why we use it
- To provide the product and keep your planner available across your devices.
- To sync content you have chosen to store with your account.
- To answer support requests you send us.
- To improve reliability and design, using aggregate and technical signals.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet legal, regulatory and messaging-compliance obligations.
Your private writing — journal entries, task pages, travel notes and reflections — is used to give you the experience you asked for. It is not used to build advertising profiles and is not sold.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run the service: hosting and application infrastructure, database and authentication, error monitoring, and — where you have opted in — a messaging provider and mobile carriers to deliver texts. Processors may handle information only to perform services for us, under contract, and not for their own purposes.
Text messaging and your mobile information
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data and messaging consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging provider and mobile carriers needed to deliver the messages you asked for, and with no one else for marketing.
Texts come from the Keys Assistant at (320) 302-7744. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is separate from creating an account and is not a condition of purchase. Full program details are in the SMS Terms, and you can opt in or out on the text messages page.
Your choices and controls
- Use TimeKey without an account, keeping content on your device.
- Decline text messages entirely, or withdraw consent at any time.
- Edit or remove your planner content directly in the product.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information associated with your account through Support.
- Disconnect an integration to stop further sharing with that service.
Retention
Planner content is kept while your account is active and until you delete it or ask us to delete the account. Conversation history and raw text-message content follow the retention settings you choose in the product. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to evidence your messaging preferences and to meet legal obligations, including after an opt-out.
Security
Access to stored content is restricted to your own account through row-level database rules, credentials are handled by our authentication provider, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect; we work to limit what is collected in the first place.
Children
TimeKey is a general-audience productivity product intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us through Support and we will remove it.
Where the service operates
My Keys LLC operates TimeKey from the United States, and information is processed there. Privacy rights differ by jurisdiction; where a law gives you rights over your information, we will honour requests made through Support. Nothing here claims coverage under a specific jurisdiction's regime beyond what applies to us.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how messaging or planner content is handled will be surfaced in the product as well.
